Choose and change AI avatars more easily and safely now!

Hello, this is the Perso AI team! 😊

Have you ever been flustered when trying to select or change an AI avatar and it behaved differently than intended?

For example, you might have had the experience of entering the selection screen to change your avatar, only to find that the avatar in the scene had disappeared after closing the window, or pressing the "Done" button only to be confused because adding or replacing it varied depending on the situation.

The inconvenience stemmed from a single selection screen handling too many tasks at once—starting new projects, adding and modifying avatars, and uploading files. We have now refined the process of selecting and managing AI avatars, streamlining it into a single rule: " Click the card to apply it instantly "! ✨

✨ What has changed?

1️⃣ Click the card and it will be applied immediately.

Now, instead of the "Done" button, clicking the desired card on the selection screen applies the changes immediately and closes the screen . When changing the avatar, the title changes to "Change AI Avatar" and displays the "Before" avatar as well, allowing you to see at a glance what you are changing.

Also, since the concept of "deselecting" has been eliminated, accidental deletion of your avatar will no longer occur . Close the screen (✕) always means "exit without changes," so please use it with peace of mind!

2️⃣ Avatar management has been neatly organized into a 'tab' in the menu.

In the Editor AI Avatar menu, each tab represents one avatar. Add with the + next to it, remove with the ✕, and switch to a different avatar with "Change." Adding, replacing, and deleting are much clearer than before, when they were all on one screen.

Clicking an avatar on the canvas opens the corresponding tab, and clicking the tab selects that avatar on the canvas. The viewing state is always maintained. Furthermore, even if you switch avatars, the visible key and position on the canvas remain the same , so the screen does not suddenly jiggle!

3️⃣ New projects start on a dedicated start screen.

When starting a new project, you can choose up to two people on the " Start with AI Avatar " screen.

If it is difficult to decide right now, it is okay to click "Start without AI Avatar." Even if you start with an empty project, you can always add an AI avatar later from the menu!

4️⃣ I corrected the order of 'Creating a Scene from a File'.

Extraction won't start immediately just by uploading the file.

Upload the file → check the result preview while deciding which avatar to make → and then press "Create Scene" for the upload and extraction to begin. If you change your mind after selecting a file, feel free to change or close it.

We will also inform you in advance of the results generated depending on the file type.

In PPT, a scene is created on every page and slide notes become the script,
For PDFs, create a scene using page images and enter the script manually.
Documents (Word, Hangul, TXT) have text divided into sentences to become scripts.

If you select two avatars, the extracted sentences are assigned alternately to the two avatars and completed in the form of a natural conversation!

💡 To summarize!

📌 One-time application without confusion → It is applied immediately the moment you click the card, so you don't need to worry about "Do I need to press Done?"

🛡️ No more worries about accidental deletion → The concept of deselecting has been eliminated, so your avatar will not disappear when you try to make changes.

🗂️ Screens perfectly suited to the situation → Starting a new project and uploading files each have their own dedicated screens, making it clear what you are doing right now.

Confirmation pop-ups appear only when absolutely necessary — they confirm once more only in irreversible situations, such as when removing the last avatar causes the entire script to disappear, or when running a PPT without an avatar prevents extracted notes from being saved. Otherwise, the process proceeds immediately without asking, reducing unnecessary clicks.

When you change avatars, your voice and gestures are reset — they are set to the new avatar's default voice, and gesture settings are disabled as available actions vary by avatar. The remaining settings, such as frames and sentence content, remain unchanged.

With this update, which organizes the previously scattered selection and management of AI avatars into a single rule of " apply immediately with a click, " we hope that both first-time and frequent users will be able to create videos even more conveniently.
