3. How do I use the glossary?

1.
Please prepare an Excel (.xlsx) file.
2.
The following two columns are required:
•
Original_Term : Original term (e.g., YouTube Shorts )
•
Target_Term : Translation term (e.g., YouTube Shorts )

If you upload a file on the translation settings screen, it will be applied automatically.
📌 The first line must include the column names. (Original_Term, Target_Term)
📌 It is safest to use the template file (available in Korean/English).

5. The glossary I uploaded isn't being reflected properly. What should I do?

Please make sure to check the following:

File format : Only Excel (.xlsx) is supported.
•
Column names : Original_Term , Target_Term . Please check if they have been entered correctly.
•
Language Pair Matching : Must match the language pair in the translation settings to be reflected. (e.g., English → Korean)
•
1:1 only possible : Currently, this applies only when there is a single target language.
•
Terms containing only special characters/numbers : Some may be ignored.

6. When is the glossary applied?

If it exactly matches the word registered in the sentence to be translated

If the source language is the same as the Original_Term language in the glossary

7. How are duplicate/exception terms handled?

✅ Duplicate Terms : AI automatically selects the appropriate item based on context

✅ Empty cell : Empty items are ignored

✅ Terms containing special characters : May not be translated

⚠️ Terms consisting only of numbers : e.g., "2024" → May not be reflected

🛠️ Spell Check Exclusion : Registered terms are excluded from spell checking (for brand name protection purposes)

8. Does the glossary apply when translating into multiple languages ​​at once?

No. Currently, the glossary is applied only when setting up a 1:1 language pair .
The condition of one source language → one target language must be satisfied.

9. An error occurs when uploading the glossary file.
